An excellent Tairona figural vessel from Colombia, ca. 1000 – 1500 AD. It is 2-1/2” high and features a nicely detailed face under the rim, with appliqué arms wrapped around the chamber. The figure is adorned with a segmented necklace created with punctures and incising. Intact, burnished, good mineral deposits.

An exceptional Carchi bowl from Ecuador, ca. 1000 – 1250 AD. This gorgeous Tuza Phase example is 7-1/8” in diameter and is lavishly decorated with four panels. Two consist of bands of birds, while the other two depict a nocturnal animal, perhaps a coatimundi. Overall in excellent condition, with vivid paint, strong mineral deposits and minor chips on the pedestal base.

A beautiful Jamacoaque figure from Ecuador, ca. 300 BC – 400 AD. This standing female is 6-5/8” high and is depicted with arms to the sides and palms facing forward. She is wearing a colorful striped skirt and is elaborately adorned with multiple ear ornaments, nose ring and a labret, as well as large necklaces and matching bracelets. A large Nariño vessel from Colombia, ca. 850 – 1500 AD. This rare example from the Capuli cultural complex is 7” in diameter and is elaborately decorated with the characteristic black-on-red resist painted designs.
