A lovely Colima figure from West Mexico, ca. 300 BC – 300 AD. This fine example is 3-3/8” high and depicts a child. He is posed standing with arms spread and is wearing a loincloth, peaked headdress, as well as spools. Perfect, with good mineral deposits.

A fine Nayarit figure from West Mexico, ca. 200 BC – 300 AD. This seated Ixtlan del Rio example is 5” high and depicts a male engaged in a mourning ritual. His arms are wrapped around the updrawn knees and his cheeks are extended, with rods projecting from the open mouth. He is adorned with large ear ornaments, nose ring and bracelets. Heavy mineral deposits, head reattached.

A lovely Diquis polychrome vessel from Costa Rica, ca. 1000 – 1500 AD. This fine double-chambered example is 5-1/4” long, the chambers are 2-5/8” in diameter and are decorated with linear and geometric designs. In excellent condition, with vivid paint and good mineral deposits.

A fine blow gun dart kit from the Amazon region of Brazil. It is 9-1/2” long, is made from bamboo with a bark lid and is filled with darts. The hollow gourd is filled with fiber (cotton?) used to wrap the darts and is attached to the nicely woven strap.

A gorgeous Nayarit polychrome male, 6" tall. This Ixtlan del Rio variant, ca. 200 BC - 350 AD stands on bifurcated feet and is lavishly painted overall. An excellent example. Intact.
