A fine Jalisco figure from West Mexico, ca. 200 BC – 350 AD. This nicely sculpted Ameca example is 4-1/4” high and depicts a seated hunchback. He is posed with hands resting on his knees and is adorned with a headdress and bracelets. Intact, with good paint and strong dendrites.

A fine Nayarit figure from West Mexico, ca. 200 BC – 300 AD. This seated Ixtlan del Rio example is 5” high and depicts a male engaged in a mourning ritual. His arms are wrapped around the updrawn knees and his cheeks are extended, with rods projecting from the open mouth. He is adorned with large ear ornaments, nose ring and bracelets. Heavy mineral deposits, head reattached.

A fine Moche Sacred Mountain scene from Peru, ca. 400 - 700 AD. It is 4-1/2" high and depicts Ai Apaec emerging from the mountains. He is nicely detailed and is adorned with serpents coiled around the mountain peaks. Good paint and mineral deposits.

A fine Chupicuaro polychrome tripod dish from Mexico, ca. 400 – 100 BC. It is 3-1/2” in diameter and stands on a trio of mammiform legs that are decorated with intricate design patterns. The hollow legs contain rattles and the scalloped rim is set off with linear décor. Nicely burnished, good mineral deposits.
