A pair of Maya stone celts from Guatemala, ca. 250 - 700 AD. One is 5-1/8" long and is made from highly polished black stone. The other is 4-1/2" long and is made from nicely polished, speckled greenstone, probably serpentine. Both have good mineral deposits.

A group of 5 Moche bells from Peru, ca. 400 – 700 AD. These copper clam-shell type bells are 1” in diameter and are perforated at the top for suspension. Most likely used as mantle décor for a member of the elite or a rattle bracelet for a ceremonial dancer. Nice examples.

An excellent Chancay comb from Peru, ca. 1100 – 1450 AD. This rare weaving tool is 4-1/2” long, 2-1/4” wide. Beautifully made from split reed, most likely Carrizo, with flattened points on both sides. This rare textile weaving tool is bound with the brown and tan braided thread typical of Chancay textile manufacture and retains a small handle. Choice example, with lots of alpaca hair.
