A trio of Gandharan stone figures from the Indus Valley, ca. 4th – 6th Century AD. They range from 2-1/4” to 3-3/4” high and are carved from the blue-gray schist typical of the area. The first depicts a figure with hands held in prayer, the second is wearing a draped garment that retains much of its red decorative paint and the third is a nicely detailed torso showing a beautiful draped and belted garment. All are individually mounted.
