A group of 5 Moche bells from Peru, ca. 400 – 700 AD. These copper clam-shell type bells are 1” in diameter and are perforated at the top for suspension. Most likely used as mantle décor for a member of the elite or a rattle bracelet for a ceremonial dancer. Nice examples.
