A beautiful Jamacoaque figure from Ecuador, ca. 300 BC – 300 AD. This large female is 8-3/4” tall and is posed standing with arms spread to the sides and palms facing forward. She is wearing a long skirt and the typical elongated headdress. She is lavishly adorned with jewelry, including several necklaces and matching bracelets, as well as ear ornaments, labret and a nose ring. Intact, with vivid paint and good mineral deposits.
