A beautiful Olmecoid – Pre-Classic Maya figure from El Salvador, ca. 200 BC – 200 AD. This seated male is 4-5/8” high and portrays a shaman, as evidenced by the characteristic horn atop his beautifully detailed coif. He is wearing a loincloth with a broad, incised belt and is adorned with a segmented necklace and ear spools. Intact, with strong mineral deposits.
