A lovely Nayarit platform scene from West Mexico, ca. 200 BC – 350 AD. It is 3” long, 3” high and depicts a pair of individuals seated atop a platform, holding a large vessel between them. Much of the painted elements, such as facial details and a necklace, remain intact over the cream slip. Strong mineral deposits, minor repair. Ex Stendahl Gallery - Hollywood, CA.
