A unique Colima sello (roller seal) vessel from West Mexico, ca. 300 BC – 300 AD. It is 2-3/8” long, 1-1/4” in diameter and is decorated with a deeply carved chevron design typical of the Las Tunas types. In addition to being a fine sello, it is also a vessel, most likely used for snuff. The rim is double perforated for attachment of a cover. In excellent condition, with good mineral deposits.
